0 Peoria, AZ Peoria, AZ Full-time Full-time $70,000 - $80,000 a year $70,000 - $80,000 a year SAS Manufacturing Supervisor This position directs, staffs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for manufacturing planning, organization, control, integration, safety and completion of manufacturing elements associated with all production areas.
Ensures appropriate resources are available and assigned to each production area.
Actively supports broad and open communication with leadership, production teams, and vendors as assigned.
Ensures inventory, work instructions and tooling support for production manufacturing resulting in a smooth and efficient transition from stock to custom to finishing and finally shipping.
As a supervisor, measures team and individual performance through appropriate performance measures.
Aggressively supports, emphasizes and measures process and productivity improvements throughout production areas.
Ensures work is performed in accordance with applicable procedures and policies.
Demonstrates an active commitment to and champions Continuous Improvement through knowledge, reporting and accountability to KPIs.
Essential Functions:
As a supervisor, set priorities for the team ensuring a focus on safety compliance and production processes and KPI achievement, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
Spend a significant portion of your day on the production floor, producing parts, programing and maintaining machines, analyzing, and improving overall performance.
Through hands-on experience and observation, you'll work together with your team to continually optimize performance.
Ensure the achievement of shop-level KPI's in areas of production, quality, cost and delivery.
Solve production issues through engineering, data analysis, experimentation, and collaboration to ensure production targets are met on a daily, weekly, and hourly basis.
Integrate and maintain shop ERP system and CAD/CAM software solution as required.
Maintain and/or validate all manufacturing drawings for current product lines.
Support New Product Integration development activities to move through production manufacturing of new products.
Participate in manufacturing design review and cost reduction activities.
Troubleshoot, improve and refine manufacturing processes and documentation.
Responsible for collaborating on the selection, training, growth and development of staff personnel to attain organizational goals and growth plans.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
To include special projects related to other functional areas.

Experience Resume Drivers License High School Diploma Ability to operate metal fabricating equipment i.
e.
press brakes, shear, laser, turret punch, robotic welder and other metal processing equipment.
Proficient in machine and offline programming and metal fabrication to specifications.
Proficient in reading and interpreting shop/cad drawings, blueprints and welding to conform to specifications.
Able to read/use measuring equipment:
tape measure, micrometer, square, protractor, etc.
and understand mathematics to verify job requirements, specifications and maintain quality controls.
Able to perform basic machine maintenance.
Ability to lift 50lbs - 100lbs.
Ability to operate a forklift (certification a plus).
Carries out additional duties as assigned.
